Pleasantview – The Dreamers – Part 2

Darren Dreamer had been grieving his wife’s sudden death for a few years. He was finally ready to move on.

snapshot_edae8d77_f7026779

He got the yard ready for the wedding.

snapshot_edae8d77_f702682f

On their wedding, Mortimer and Alexander came, but said Dina wasn’t feeling good enough to make it. Cassandra was relieved. Darren’s son, Dirk also came with his wife Lilith. For some reason Goopy showed up, although he isn’t friends to either one of them. Also, the mailman was in the yard and just invited himself. Isn’t that like crashing a wedding?

snapshot_edae8d77_d7026b03

After the wedding, people got acquainted. So far the weather still looked promising. [I forgot to make her wear a wedding dress ]

snapshot_edae8d77_57026b4f

Don Lothario did crash the wedding! He wasn’t invited and just walked on the lot after they were married.

snapshot_edae8d77_37026be5

Then he started poking and arguing with Mortimer. Cassandra was furious that he would show up, let alone attack her father like that.

snapshot_edae8d77_d7026c29

She went to get Darren who told her to make him leave before he caused a bigger scene.

snapshot_edae8d77_37026cc8

She didn’t know what to do after he refused to leave. She didn’t want to have to call the cops, so she decided to just buy him off and give him some money if he promised to leave. She could smell liquor on his breath so she hoped he’d get over this little tantrum when he’d sober up. [There was actually an option in the menu pie to buy him off!]

snapshot_edae8d77_57026cde

At first he didn’t want it, then she told him to just take it and leave.

snapshot_edae8d77_d7026ce6

She let out a sigh of relief when he finally left.

snapshot_edae8d77_37026d23

Later Dina Caliente showed up. She didn’t even join the guests, she just went right inside.

snapshot_edae8d77_f7026d3f

When Darren went inside, he was surprised to find Don there. Cassandra had told him that he had left.

snapshot_edae8d77_d7026e64

Since it had started raining outside, all the guests had to go inside. Cassandra felt like she was in a nightmare. First Dina shows up, then she realizes that Don hadn’t even left. What else could go wrong?

snapshot_edae8d77_37026eb1

The lightning hit their tree, not once, but twice, and caused fires both times.

snapshot_edae8d77_77026f57

Finally the guests all left and they were off for their honeymoon.

snapshot_edae8d77_1702709c

When they got back home it was sunny. They were ready to start their new life together.

snapshot_edae8d77_f7027177

Dina just loves to go around kicking trashcans!

snapshot_edae8d77_7702740f

Darren started working on a painting of his new wife. He wanted to surprise her and give it to her as a gift.

snapshot_edae8d77_37027468

Cassandra made some renovations to the house. Nothing major. She didn’t want Darren to feel that she was taking over and changing everything. She just changed the floors in the kitchen.

snapshot_edae8d77_b7027b23

And the floors in the living room. Added a carpet at the door. Painted the walls a different color, and replaced the sofa and chair. She knew Darren wasn’t after her money, he had even wanted to sign a prenup before they got married, but she had refused.

Pleasantview – The Goths

Cassandra laid in bed awake late that night after she met Darren Dreamer. She was now torn in what to do. She decided she’d have to postpone her wedding with Don for now.

snapshot_6dae6a73_b7010a20

When her father told her he was engaged to Dina Caliente, Cassandra thought it would be the perfect excuse to postpone her wedding to Don. Since everything was ready in the backyard for a wedding, she told her father to use it first.

On her father’s wedding day, Don and Nina showed up.

snapshot_6dae6a73_37010dc8

Alexander had taken a day off from school to be at his father’s wedding.

snapshot_6dae6a73_77010ef5

It was a nice sunny day, so they all ate outside after the wedding. Then Mortimer and Dina went of for their honeymoon.

snapshot_6dae6a73_37011025

The next day Cassandra watched as Don was trying to impress her father. He really tried to make Mortimer like him, but Mortimer just didn’t.

snapshot_6dae6a73_b7011272

Things like grabbing Cassandra’s butt in front of her father didn’t help Mortimer to be impressed with Don.

snapshot_6dae6a73_b70112b9

Then it happened… Don made a flirtatious pass at Dina. He didn’t think anyone had seen.

snapshot_6dae6a73_f7011441

Cassandra slapped Dina in anger.

snapshot_6dae6a73_37011475

Then she yelled angrily at Don. How could he do such a stupid thing? In reality she was sort of glad it happened because it helped her to make her decision as to whether she should marry him or not.

snapshot_6dae6a73_d7011504

What really angered her was the fact that it had been with her father’s new wife. What little chance of Mortimer liking Don had now vanished.

snapshot_6dae6a73_d7011527

Cassandra didn’t loose no time in telling Don that she was breaking up with him.

snapshot_6dae6a73_5701158f

He pleaded for her to reconsider. He told her it wasn’t a big deal, he hadn’t even done it seriously. He was just teasing. But she wouldn’t hear any of it.

snapshot_6dae6a73_1701159d

Dina went to Mortimer and told him she was shocked at Don’s advance and that she felt embarrassed.

snapshot_6dae6a73_d701163c

She told him she would rather die than to hurt him. Mortimer hadn’t seen the actual flirting, so he had no choice but to believe his new wife that she hadn’t provoked him and had stopped him.

snapshot_6dae6a73_b7011640

Dina warned Cassandra to stop telling her father that she had flirted with Don. She told her that Don had made the move, not her.

snapshot_6dae6a73_17011715

Dina didn’t like Cassandra, to say the least and she was happy that she wasn’t going to marry Don after all. She knew that now Don would want her because she was married to money.

snapshot_6dae6a73_77011a7a

Later Dina went in Cassandra’s bedroom and started snooping around.

snapshot_6dae6a73_d7011bc5

When Darren called Cassandra up, she asked him to come over.

snapshot_6dae6a73_b7011c9f

When he arrived she told him everything that had just happened and that her engagement to Don was off.

snapshot_6dae6a73_f7011d12

Darren didn’t loose any time and proposed to her.

snapshot_6dae6a73_77011e0f

Alexander is now a teenager. He is a very bright kid and just loves to play the piano constantly.

Chapter 6 - 2 Weddings, 2 Funerals & a Baby

[Click on the images to see them bigger]

Baylie spent a lot of time painting once she got home.

Nanny Karen started dating the Headmaster BJ. He's much younger than her, but they are very happy and have a lot of fun together.

Tristian started coming by to see Baylie, but at first she acted nonchalant.

Eventually she accepted to go out to diner with him.

She began to see the Tristian she had first fallen in love with again and not the cheating Tristian.

He was treating her like his queen and pampering her with romance.

When he proposed, she didn't hesitate to accept.

Nanny Karen also got engaged to BJ around that time.

Nanny Karen and BJ got married outside with the whole family present.

For a wedding gift, Baylie painted their portrait.

They were like two little children when they were together. Playing and laughing and loving.

But sadly, when she turned 71, Nanny Karen passed away suddenly.

BJ was in shock after her death. He couldn't cope and the doctor tried to help him.

Baylie also was taking her passing very hard. There was no consoling her.

They decided to elope to get married. She didn't want a celebration. Tristian hoped that getting married would help ease her grief of loosing her Nanny.

Not long after, BJ was found dead in the bedroom that he used to share with Nanny Karen.

Baylie was pregnant, but was far from feeling happy. Too many tragedies had happened all so close together.

She gave birth to a son whom they named Cameron. [After my real life cousin's newborn baby]

Grandpa Adam helped a lot with taking care of Cameron.

Baylie imagined Nanny Karen playing with baby Cameron. She knew Nanny Karen was smiling from heaven and looking over him.
